Hello Future 9th Graders (Current 8th Graders) and Families of future 9th graders,

The Tennis Team is currently holding sign ups for new players, and we’re excited to invite you to join the program!

Our off-season summer tennis workouts will be held on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays throughout the summer and will be located at the IUP or East Pike courts depending on the time. These summer workouts are open to all students going into 9th-12th grade, both girls and boys, and are low stress and lots of fun.  

Students, if you are interested in coming to these sessions, please use the class codes below to join our Google Classroom:

Specifics and times for summer workouts will be released week by week on our Google Classroom as well as through the Remind App. You can find information about how to sign up for our Remind on the classroom. Google Classroom is just for IASD students, but both students and parents can sign up for the Tennis Remind (all students need to sign up).  

Summer tennis times will likely vary, some sessions being in the mornings and others in the evenings, so please make sure you are in the Classroom and signed up for Remind in order to stay up to date.

The girls tennis season officially begins in the fall, with practices starting in August. The official boys tennis season is in the spring, with practices starting in March.

Remember, all are welcome, these practice opportunities are geared towards players of all levels, from beginner to experienced, and are a fun and engaging way to work on tennis basics, gain playing experience, and meet other players. We’d love to see you there, whether you’re just looking to try it out or ready to commit to playing with the team.
