IHS came up just a bit short finishing second to Bedford in Altoona Team Invitational held April 6-7.  Indiana's Zachary Palko did earn the team's first ever individual first place medal by sweeping the #1 singles flight which is quite an accomplishment considering the team has been participating in this annual event for nearly 20 years.  The other indiana results:

Josh Mbogo and Muhsin Wahi-Anwar 3rd place #2 doubles

"Zach has earned the medal he wore home.  He puts in a ton of time practicing, going to clinics, and doing everything he can to get better.   Overall I'm pleased with the team's efforts.  We play this tournament to be tested against quality opponents.  We lost a few really close matches but also the guys came though in some tough matches as well.  Hopefully we'll be ready when we face tough teams in the playoffs."
