Indiana advances to the WPIAL AA final for the fourth consecutive year,  facing Quaker Valley tomorrow at the Oxford Athletic Club.  The past three seasons, IHS lost to Sewickley Academy, a team that had won 15 consecutive WPIAL championships until moving up to compete in AAA this season.  The win advances IHS to the PIAA team tournament which starts next Tuesday vs. an opponent yet to be determined.

"Zach and Joey are a combined 44-4 on the season so they give us a big advantage vs. most teams and that was no different today.  We jumped out to a quick 2-0 team lead today as Zach's opponent quit playing due to an eye problem after getting blown out in the first set  and Joey was done soon after.  It became a quest for a third point in what turned out to be three very tight matches at #3 singles, #1 doubles, and #2 doubles.  Hammad and Philip earned the team's third point closing out a close second set tie breaker.
