NORTH CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL: 3
Indiana closed it 2019 section season with a near upset of the second place team in section 3AA North Catholic but unlike yesterday's upset win over Derry, the team fell just short losing 3-2.
"Things really started just like yesterday with us taking a lead on three of five courts but unlike yesterday only Lily Carone at #2 singles and Teresa Javato-Leo and Maggie Medvetz at #2 doubles closed out straight set wins. The #1 doubles duo of Mckenzie McGee and Kate Kuzneski just couldn't hold onto the first set lead and lost all momentum heading into the second set. I'm really proud of how we've been playing the last few matches. We were close in matches earlier in the season but just could not get a win. To push the second place team in our section like we did today is pretty amazing" (Coach Palko)
