The Indiana Area indoor track and field team kicked off their season Saturday at a Tri-State Track and Field Invite as one of 51 participating teams. The boys distance relay teams led the way with a pair of 1st place finishes. Joey Bujdos, Matt Berzonsky, Iago Joppa-Astray, and Jack Finegan all ran on the winning 4x800 (8:37) and the distance medley relay (11:14) teams.  The boys 4x400 meter relay team of Bujdos, Kendall Branan, Isaac Roadman, and Evan Ray took 4th with a time of 3:47.

Individually Kendall Branan led the way with his 3rd place and school record performance in the 400 meters running a time of 52.30. The following individuals also placed in the top 8 of their respective events: Evan Ray (high jump 5th place 5-8), Amelia Kuzneski ( high jump 6th place 4-10),  Tucker Davis (3000 meters 7th place 9:52), and Anthony Bevevino (shot put 7th place 42-3).

The team will compete again next Saturday at Edinboro University.
