Indiana’s Indoor Track and field team competed Saturday, February 9 at a Tri-State Track and Field Coaches Association Invite at Edinboro University. Once again the team was led by their distance team as they ran a school record time in the distance medley relay. The quartet of Iago Jopia, Kendall Branan, Matt Berzonsky and Joey Bujdos took 2nd place with their time of 10:48.15. Individually Kendall Branan won the 400 meters breaking his own school record with a time of 50.71. Also placing in the top 8 of their respective events were Evan Ray (5th place high jump 5-9) and Isabelle McCabe (7th place 3000 meters 11:32.31).
The team will compete next Saturday at the TSTCA Championship Meet at Edinboro University.
