The Indiana Indoor Track and Field team finished their regular season slate of meets Saturday, February 15 at a Tri-State Track and Field Coaches Association meet at Edinboro University. Kendall Branan continued to shine on the track winning the 400 meters with a time of 49.21. That time bested his previous school record time of 49.40 set earlier this year. Isaac Roadman took 2nd place for the Indians with his effort of 13-6 in the pole vault. Rounding out the medalist performances for the boys was the 4x400 meter relay team. The team of Branan, Evan Cox, Owen Putt, and Jack Finegan took 6th with a time of 3:42.62.
On the girls dude of the ledger Faith Hartle took 8th place in the pole vault with a jump of 9-3. Sara Welch placed 8th in both the long and triple jumps with her season’s best efforts of 15-6 and 32-3 respectively.
The team awaits word on the athletes that will qualify for next weekend’s TSTCA Championship meet to be held February 22 at Edinboro University.
