PENN-TRAFFORD HIGH SCHOOL: 791.00
The rifle team beat Penn Trafford by a score of 792-49x to Penn Trafford’s 791-40x. Leading the IHS team was Brooke Beckwith, Kate Metzger , and Alex Beatty all with a 100-6x. Their record is 6-8 overall, 2-6 in Section 3. Their win gave them a third place tie in section 3 and qualified them for the wildcard championship playoffs to be held at Butler High School on Thursday. They will be competing against Penn Trafford, Plum, Trinity and a yet to be determined team from section 1. The winner of this match advances to the championship round next week.
The JV team also beat Penn Trafford by a score of 394-14x to Penn Trafford’s 387-12x. Their record is 3-1.
