CoEd Varsity Rifle - wildcard playoff match at Butler HS School

The rifle team placed third in the wildcard playoff with a 793-49x on Thursday, February 7 at Butler High School. Trinity took first and advanced to the championship on Tuesday with a 798-62x. West Greene was second with a 796-57x. Penn Trafford was fourth with a 791-45x and Plum was last with a 781-37x. Leading the IHS team was Alex Beatty with a 100-8x, followed by Lily Palfrey with a 100-5x. Their final record is 6-8 overall, 2-6 in Section 3. Individual competition will be next Thursday, February 14.
Teams going to Championships are Waynesburg, McGuffey, Woodland Hills, Bethel Park, Butler, Hempfield and Trinity.
